How did Tony earn his bragging rights?

The life of a railroad worker is sometimes used as an excuse for acquiring unhealthy habits. "We are always on call, 365 days a year, around the clock, so we tend to grab whatever food we can and eat on the run or on our way to work," explains Tony Williams.

TonyTony Williams began his wellness journey in January 2009 with his then fiance Rebecca Moore. Tony's mother had joined Weight Watchers, inspiring him do the same and Rebecca followed his lead. The couple replaced their old diet of fast food and lots of meat with an abundance of fresh vegetables, fruit, whole grains and lean meats or seafood.

After having some success with Weight Watchers and learning a new, healthy ways to eat and prepare food, Williams and Moore discovered a nearby park where they began walking regularly. By August 2010, they had lost almost 200 pounds, collectively. With winter coming, the couple decided to join a fitness center. Both began to do cardio and strength (weight and resistance) exercises.

Tony successfully lost over 100 pounds and has kept it off. He weighs 185 pounds. He and Rebecca got married and are now living in Chicago, IL. They are still committed to living a healthy lifestyle and are both lifetime members of Weight Watchers and Anytime Fitness.
