Tamara Chaney

Tamara Chaney lost over 50 lbs. In addition to having more energy, she is setting a powerful example for her young children.

I was reluctant to join Weight Watchers At Work. With a history of yo-yo dieting, I was intimidated by the thought of watching others succeed when I might fail.  When a co-worker who seemed healthy had emergency heart surgery, I knew this was my wake up call.

It took 51 weeks to lose 50 pounds and reach my goal weight. I truly underestimated the value of the support of my peers. The WW Good Health Guidelines helped me develop a lifestyle I can maintain for my family. More importantly, Ia'm building a healthy foundation for my kids while adding years to our lives.

In addition to WW, I work out at home alternating between aerobic activities, resistance training and playing with my children.
