Short Line Integration
Norfolk Southern Short Line Marketing is committed to working with its short line partners with a common focus on improving levels of service by creating solutions to eliminate reporting errors, commonly known as the “black hole.”
The current expected percentage of events reported is based upon the roles a short line plays in trips they participate in. The percentage of reporting timeliness is based upon the time period in which a central site receives reporting information, as defined for that event.
