Norfolk Southern's Central Yard Operations handles a range of services including equipment orders, current demurrage records, industry switching, crew work orders, basic tracing and car movement reporting.

CYO’s focus as a contact center is to consistently provide customers with accurate and timely shipment information along with reliable and courteous service by the most knowledgeable and safest customer service staff in the transportation industry.

Central Yard Operations provides coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Thoroughbred Pacesetter
