Norfolk Southern Railway Company and Union Pacific Railroad have developed a new service for auto parts shipments between major North American markets and Mexico. de Mex AutoFlyer® streamlines rail interchange operations to link the major automotive industrial areas of the Great Lakes and Midwest regions with Mexico's major industrial centers.

The service is part of a planned portfolio of new AutoFlyer services which offer seamless door-to-door transportation with truck-competitive rates.

de Mex AutoFlyer® offers shippers truck-competitive transportation options for automotive parts originating within a 150-mile radius of Norfolk Southern's Just-in-Time (JIT) Rail Centers located in Buffalo, N.Y.; Dayton, Ohio; and Detroit, Mich.

Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific will work with you to develop a total logistics package including dedicated equipment, truck-to-boxcar crossdock, boxcar-to-truck delivery, warehousing, seamless border crossing, damage prevention, customer service, and e-commerce capabilities; all customized to meet your specific needs consistently, reliably and economically.
