Position Description: The successful candidate must be experienced in the operation of the following Caterpillar equipment: D-10 Dozers, 992 Loaders, and 637 to support operations at our Wheelersburg facility. The candidate should also possess sufficient mathematical ability to enable monitoring and adjustment of material blends. Experience in the operation of barge loading, train loading and rotary dump equipment is a plus.
Operators are subject to working various shifts with the possibility of rest days being scheduled on non-weekend days. Operators may be subject to working overtime that would be paid at the overtime rate.
Pay Rate: Trainees start out at 90% of the Union Scale for the first 12 months; full union scale is $17.58 per hour.
