Prefer: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems candidates with at least a 2.8/4.0 GPA overall; 3.0/4.0 in major. No relocation, travel or living expenses are provided. Salary for this full-time position depends on class level at the time of employment. Six-month rotations are preferred.
All co-ops who are active employees on or after January 1, 2005, will be paid according to the following:

Description: Students will be responsible for troubleshooting PCs and related peripherals, Windows 2000, and Windows XP Workstations. Installation/setup of PCs including installation of Operating System and all desktop applications, adapters in PCs, CD-ROM drives, additional hard drives, and configuration of network client software. Configuration of PCs will also include installation/setup of TCP/IP stack, mainframe emulation software, web browsers, and internet e-mail clients. Students will work in a help desk environment assisting customers in resolution of PC related problems. This includes, but is not limited to, problems with PC based applications, Operating System problems, hardware problems, and general troubleshooting of a customer's PC not functioning properly.
Skills: Must be experienced in the use of PC's and programming disciplines. Knowledge of MS Office is preferred. Proper experience in a business office or business environment is also preferred. Must be able to interact with both supervision and union-oriented craft employees. Should be willing to study reference materials to resolve problems, make suggestions for improvements, and design projects.
