Prefer: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering candidates with at least a 2.8/4.0 GPA overall; 3.0/4.0 in major. No relocation, travel, or living expenses are provided. Salary for this full-time position depends on class level at the time of employment. Students must commit to at least two alternating semesters to be considered for the co-op position.
All co-ops who are active employees on or after January 1, 2005, will be paid according to the following:

| Reports To: | Intermodal Systems Managers |
Description: Co-op will support the information needs of the Intermodal department. This will include developing and supporting databases, queries, reports, and spreadsheets in response to user requests; researching programmed solutions and developing appropriate technical documentation; providing administrative and maintenance support for end-user query tools; assisting with software and equipment inventory; coordinating user support with PC/LAN group.
Skills: Student must be knowledgeable in use of Microsoft Windows, Office 97 Professional, and Office 2000 Professional; should be familiar with a variety of query and report tools to allow data distribution to a user and customer base; should have a basic understanding of relational database concepts; should have ability to write SQL statements; must be personable and demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills; must be self-disciplined, detail-oriented, and be committed to delivery of quality products and services. Experience with MS Access programming and MS SQL Server desirable.
