Prefer:   Management Science, Decision Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics candidates with at least a 2.85/4.0 GPA overall; 3.0/4.0 in major. No relocation, travel or living expenses are provided. Salary for this full-time position depends on class level at the time of employment.

All co-ops who are active employees on or after January 1, 2005, will be paid according to the following:

Location: 1200 Peachtree St., Atlanta, GA
Work Period: Spring, Summer, Fall
Hours: Monday through Friday; generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Reports To: Manager - Operating Plan Support

Discription:  Interns and Co-ops will perform multifaceted work and may be involved in several projects simultaneously. Their work may be programming, database maintenance, presentation preparation, data gathering, simulation, statistical analysis, or mathematical modeling. The students will work with a group of 12-15 professionals who provide ideas, analysis, and vision for the corporation as a whole, and Marketing and Transportation in particular.

Skills:   Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, a proven aptitude for problem solving, excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills, and a high degree of computer literacy. Student should demonstrate an intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn more. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and a 4th generation programming language is preferable. Experience and familiarity with SAS or Minitab, UNIX, and SQL are desirable. Exposure to HTML, and PHP, PERL or Java is a plus.
