Mary Brickey
CYO - Lake Division
Atlanta

I myself am not a veteran - only of the railroad.

However, I have five brothers currently working or retired from Wabash, NW and NS service who are veterans - one a Pearl Harbor survivor, one who fought in the Korean conflict and one a Vietnam veteran. Here’s a photo from a presentation by Friends of Michigan History on the 60 th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Left to right: Forrest Jackson Brickey, Wabash conductor, Vietnam veteran; David Huston Brickey, state legislative director UTU, Wabash; Frank Eugene Brickey, retired Wabash conductor; Maurice Edmund Brickey, retired from General Motors, served in Korea War; Miles Elmo Brickey, retired Wabash trainmaster and Pearl Harbor survivor.
