Big Sandy Terminal is an NS-served coal terminal located on Big Sandy River at Mile Marker 6.2, Neal, WV. The facility has an annual throughput capacity of seven million tons with ground storage of 250,000 tons. The terminal is equipped with a car bottom dumper, barge loader and truck scales.
The facility is owned by Big Sandy Terminal and provides volume storage and coal loading to a barge. It can handle large quantities of truck coal and provide a volume two-way coal blend.
The facility operates 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
