Elizabeth Marine Terminal/New York Container Terminal - Capital Recovery Fee

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has made revisions to the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) Schedule No. PA-10 “Naming Rules and Regulations Applying at Port Authority Marine Terminals and Rates and Charges Applicable for the Use of Public Areas at Port Authority Marine Terminals”.

The changes to this publication in Subrule 34-765 include:

The capital recovery fee, assessed on all containers moving in or out of Elizabeth Marine Terminal and New York Container Terminal, will increase from $52.50 to $55.00
The new charge will be effective October 1, 2009
The new $55.00 capital recovery fee plus a $54.00 lift fee (for a total of $109.00) will be added to invoices for service to/from Elizabeth Marine Terminal and New York Container Terminal
