Later Cutoff for Chicago to Florida Service; Faster Transit Chicago to Titusville
Starting August 2, 2010, Norfolk Southern will offer a later cutoff and adjust availability for intermodal shipments from Chicago to Florida. The new schedules are designed to enhance reliability while maintaining 3rd morning availability at Titusville and Miami. In fact, elapsed time cutoff-to-availability from Chicago to Titusville will decrease by 4 hours. Chicago to Jacksonville will change from 2nd late afternoon to 3rd morning availability. The new schedules are shown below:
