NS & BNSF: Fast and Frequent between the Northeast and Southern California
Effective February 1, 2010, Norfolk Southern and BNSF will increase the frequency of our expedited schedules between the Northeast and Southern California for time-sensitive private trailer shipments. NS and BNSF will offer daily Westbound departures and Eastbound departures six times weekly, up from four per week in each direction. With a seamless steel-wheel interchange at Chicago, this expedited service can be faster than single-driver truck and cover up to 2,800 miles in only 90 hours:
