Our Premium Service Group is comprised of dedicated individuals who provide proactive monitoring of all premium loads shipped via Norfolk Southern. Our personal and constant supervision of these premium shipments in conjunction with our internal management tools for planning and execution provide the best possible intermodal performance. Our customers can always be assured that our multi-faceted internal interaction as well as our marketing efforts will continue to prove us the industry leader. In addition to our support staff, NS offers highly competitive expedited schedules that combine the synergies of our local and interline network.

Safety is and will continue to be a priority on our rail system. Not only does this assure our employees the best working environment possible, it has also consistently demonstrated to us that safety = performance by reducing the risk of accident and disruption to our intermodal product. Coinciding with this are our continuing initiatives in terminal security plans to further enhance a seamless product.

For 2008 we are continuing to maintain our growing capital investment program demonstrating the aggressive stance needed to handle increased volumes to continue moving intermodal shipments more quickly and economically than ever before.
