Our paving project continues as planned at our Kansas City Intermodal facility. Beginning Wednesday, September 27, 2017 we will enter into the third phase of the project which consists of repaving our ground-stacking area. We will continue to take steps to minimize customer impact during this phase of the project; however, some shipments arriving on trains 21T (Northeast to Kansas City) and 224 (Southeast to Kansas City) may incur availability delays of up to 24 hours over the next six weeks.
The Kansas City paving project consists of five phases and the initial phase began early this summer. The fifth and final phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2017.
