As noted in our July 28, 2018 Customer Advisory, on Monday July 30th the Croxton ingate temporarily closed to empty COFC and TOFC shipments. This was done to reduce operational challenges and to improve the balance of equipment and volume flows between the NJ Intermodal facilities. The temporary closure also afforded the opportunity to load and advance a high volume of shipments, resulting in increased parking capacity. The following gate openings are announced:
- Effective immediately the Croxton ingate is open to all empty COFC shipments billed to Rossville, and empty COFC shipments billed to Rossville will no longer be accepted at the Erail Intermodal Facility
- Effective 9:00am tomorrow, Saturday August 11th, the Croxton ingate will reopen to all empty COFC and TOFC shipments
