  • Bulk: unfinished cargo shipped in raw form; ex: flour, sugar, plastics, corn syrup, oil
    • Dry Bulk: loose bulk cargo; ex: flour, plastics, sugar
    • Liquid Bulk: cargo shipped in liquid form; ex: corn syrup, oil
      • Food Grade: Facility equipped for handling dry goods; may also be able to handle fresh food and/or offer refrigerated services
      • Hazardous Handling: Facility equipped for handling hazardous materials
      • Truck Wash: Has on site wash bay for interior truck washing
      • Packaging: Boxing, container stuff, gaylords
      • Steam Heating: Steam boiler used to heat up product enough to transfer from rail to truck
      • Water Heating: Water boiler used to heat up product with a scorch risk
  • Warehouse: storage for cargo
    • Steel: Indoor facility suited for handling steel and metal products
      • Overhead Crane: A fixed crane used to hoist steel
      • Forklift: Motor vehicle used to lift and move heavy material; capacities vary by facility
      • Temp Control: Temperature controlled environment to protect your product
      • Humidity Control: Humidity controlled environment to protect your product
      • Processing: Cutting, Pickling, Slitting, Blanking, and any other at facility steel processing.
  • Food Grade: Facility equipped for handling dry goods; may be able to handle fresh food and/or offer refrigerated services.
    • Refrigerated Storage: Facility equipped with refrigerated storage space to keep your product chilled
    • Frozen Storage: Facility equipped with freezer storage space to keep your product frozen
  • General: General warehouse capable of handling a wide variety of materials.
    • Roll Clamp: Used to lift and move cylindrical shaped products, i.e. paper rolls
    • Bale Clamp: Used to lift and move pallet-less products, i.e. fabric, cardboard
    • Cross Dock: Practice of unloading material directly from truck to rail or rail to truck.
    • Packaging: Facility equipped to package your raw product when it arrives.

    • Covered Storage: Protected storage space for bulk freight
    • Ground Storage: Lay down storage area for bulk freight
    • Roll On/Off Ramp: Ramp available for loading/unloading rolling equipment
  • Project Track: vacant Norfolk Southern track designated for loading and unloading of equipment
