Water levels have receded, and the route to and from Kansas City has been restored. There will be delays associated with slower track conditions and congestion, and customers should continue to expect delays of 24 to 48 hours on traffic moving through this area. Norfolk Southern will continue to work with other carriers to clear affected traffic. The embargo was canceled on June 16 for traffic received from other carriers through the Kansas City gateway.
